Mia and Paul have been together forever, like 7 years forever, yet their chemistry and giddiness when around each other would have made me think it had only been a few months (cf their awesome engagement session). The emotion, excitement and thought that went in to this day astounded me. Mia has an impeccable sense of style and she combined that with nostalgic details like using her parent’s cake topper on the cake her mother made, getting married at her grandparent’s house, and a close family friend making biscotti and macarons for late night snacks.
This wedding was also featured on Ruffled, you should definitely click over there for Mia’s thoughts, and more photos including the amazing invitations and a close up of Paul’s awesome custom tie.

Lynn and Brady planned a spring garden brunch wedding at the gorgeous Cylburn Arboretum. The day dawned rainy but everyone adapted and what resulted was one of the most beautifully orchestrated weddings I’ve seen. Lynn’s spot-on taste and vision created the perfect garden party, especially aided by the fantastic servingware and food from Copper Kitchen. Lynn DIY’d so many aspects of the wedding, even picking and arranging her own bouquet into a breathtaking wild arrangement. Aside from just how pretty this wedding was, Lynn and Brady were surrounded by family and friends who adore them, and as Lynn’s grandfather married them I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the place, including mine.

Alex and Rob included so many personal details into their wedding that made it meaningful for them. During the ceremony their rings were passed around the room so that everyone could say a blessing over them. They tried to make sure that all of the elements of their wedding were reflective of their personalities, that included getting a DJ who donates some of his fee to greyhound rescue, a vegetarian menu, a nature theme, dancing the Romanian hora and Alex’s mother filling little glass bottles with tuica, a Romanian plum brandy or moonshine for all the tables. It was a beautifully intimate evening – you can hear more of Alex’s perspective in their feature on United With Love. ┬áSpecial thanks to my super second shooter, Caleb.

Beth and Justin will be getting married at Glen Echo Park in Maryland this summer, but they wanted to incorporate their home in Boston into their engagement photos. I was amazed at all of the beautiful spots we found within a few block of their apartment on Beacon Street. We didn’t need props or clothing changes, just their good looks and the beautiful city. Their session was featured on Brooklyn Bride – appropriate since they just learned that they will be moving to Brooklyn this summer right before the wedding!
