Food // Maryland Table

Maryland Table
For the last three years my husband and I have been happy subscribers to a Community Supported Agriculture program. If you’re at all interested in eating organic, seasonal, local food you should definitely find out about the CSA model. It has completely changed the way we think about our health, food and community. Our CSA really took off this fall with a la carte offerings of organic produce and sustainably raised meats and dairy available through online ordering. We have found it to be a really wonderful thing to be a part of – not only is the food delicious but we are more connected to our neighbors and where we live through this small step.
I was thrilled to be able to take the photos for the new Maryland Table website, though photographing raw chicken was one of the most challenging assignments I’ve had to date. But I couldn’t believe more in a project, as is evidenced by my order every week. Through the winter everything is available as individual items, and the CSA portion will start up again in April. Visit the website, or email Craig at csewell@acookscafe.com if you’re curious.Organic Maryland FoodOrganic Carrots TurnipsLocal Maryland Food
