From engagement sessions to Day in the Life with families to my version of professional headshots, I love the challenge of trying to tease out a personality or relationship and then click the shutter at just the right time. There is nothing more satisfying than getting a shot that captures someone’s essence perfectly. Here is a sampling of the many 2011 sessions I will be blogging over the next few months. Thank you to all of my wonderful friends, family, and clients who spent time with me last year, and I’m so excited about what’s to come!

Wow! You killed it in 2011!!!
very nice body of work. especially like the children’s hammock set and the engagement set of the couple in the city ( ventilation grille / red ivy ).
Beautiful photographs. I love the processing, the tones in all of them but in particular the warm tones. My fav is the balcony shot. It looks like a stylish shot from the 60′s.
Your 2011 has been truly wonderful based on these beautiful pictures. Well done!
These are awesome! Love the processing as well! Nicely done!!
Beautiful again, Sarah. Thanks for including us.

You amaze me….always.
such a great wedding. i love that you started it out with the shot of the note – i saw them both in a different light the whole post (each seeing each other as the most beautiful in the world). but when i got to the b&w kiss at the reception i was struck – what a powerful image! very well done all around!
Incredible year Sarah! So much awesomeness!
