I am kind of turning into a crazy plant lady. My husband actually got me a gift card to Home Depot for our anniversary so that I could buy more plants. My goal is two plants in every room of our house, but in some rooms I’m up to 10! At any rate, Cynthia and Chris were kindred spirits in this regard, when I suggested this warm lush conservancy for their winter engagement they were totally on board. I loved their vibe together, a mix of playful and sweet. I’ve been having a lot of fun adding in some vintage instant film cameras when sessions allow the time, see if you can spot some classic Polaroid SX-70 and 600 shots below!

Annapolis Family Photography // Horton Family
February 23, 2016Jamie is a wonderful family photographer so I was honored when she asked me to capture some photos of her beautiful family. At the time of this session my little boy was just starting to roll over. Watching Jamie’s boys in all their wild and free play made me laugh and so much look forward to what is to come. Sibling and family love is really quite something to watch.
Maryland Maternity Boudoir // Kelsey
October 30, 2015It was not very long ago that I was shooting Kelsey and Kagan’s wedding, and now perfect little Grady is here. Shortly before he arrived we met at the Inn At Perry Cabin and beautiful Kelsey pretty much defined ‘mama glow’. I love this family and I’m so happy that I can be part of their continuing story.
Maryland Senior Photos // Mariah
February 5, 2013This is my dear cuz, Mariah. As I mentioned a few posts ago, every summer or so we gather at our family cottage on Glen Lake in Michigan. It was amazing to be able to take Mariah’s senior photos in a place that is so special to our family story. A few days ahead we played dress-up with all the girls bringing wardrobe contributions, then we set out to explore the shores of Lake Michigan where we hunt petoskeys, the Crystal River we float down in kayaks, the cherry country fields and we ended up right off our own dock with vaguely Moonrise Kingdom inspired canoe shots. Behind the scenes a whole slew of cousins were whistling at Mariah to get those amazing laughs out of her.
And my favorite shot of my adorable brother, Jem, who came along to help with styling.
