We had the best day. We started at the National Arboretum, then wandered around Georgetown, then Kate cooked us an amazing fresh pasta dinner at their house while we chatted and waited for the sun to go down ending with rooftop photos overlooking the city. The variety of locations, perfect weather and the really infectious chemistry between these two made for some of my favorite engagement photos to date.

Georgetown Engagement // Kate and Chuck
September 6, 2012Georgetown Engagement // Mia and Paul
May 10, 2012Mia and Paul planned their engagement session around Georgetown spots that were meaningful to them, where they met, the spot that Paul asked for her number, where they shared their first date, first kiss, we revisited it all. These two are hilarious and beautiful and goofy and their wedding this fall is going to be amazing, I can already tell. This session was featured on Brooklyn Bride a few weeks ago!

St. John’s College // Will and Maeve
April 11, 2012A few of my favorites from Will and Maeve’s engagement session that took place mostly at St. John’s College on a gorgeous day. Their wedding at Ventosa Vineyards in the New York Fingerlakes region is in about six weeks and I’m so excited!

A Boston Engagement // Beth and Justin
February 6, 2012
Beth and Justin will be getting married at Glen Echo Park in Maryland this summer, but they wanted to incorporate their home in Boston into their engagement photos. I was amazed at all of the beautiful spots we found within a few block of their apartment on Beacon Street. We didn’t need props or clothing changes, just their good looks and the beautiful city. Their session was featured on Brooklyn Bride – appropriate since they just learned that they will be moving to Brooklyn this summer right before the wedding!
