I am kind of turning into a crazy plant lady. My husband actually got me a gift card to Home Depot for our anniversary so that I could buy more plants. My goal is two plants in every room of our house, but in some rooms I’m up to 10! At any rate, Cynthia and Chris were kindred spirits in this regard, when I suggested this warm lush conservancy for their winter engagement they were totally on board. I loved their vibe together, a mix of playful and sweet. I’ve been having a lot of fun adding in some vintage instant film cameras when sessions allow the time, see if you can spot some classic Polaroid SX-70 and 600 shots below!

Annapolis Engagement // Karin and Chris
March 17, 2015These two are so special to me. I have been friends with Karin for many years and many adventures. When Chris came into her life it didn’t take too long for all of us to realize this was something special. Karin is an incredible jeweler and Chris is a wonderful painter. Together they make one of the most lovely, creative couples I’ve ever known and I’m so happy to call them friends. They got married on a snowy January day, and a few days before that we took these engagement photos for them. So many congratulations you two.
Georgetown Engagement // Christine and Michael
March 7, 2014A beautiful day with a beautiful couple. We traipsed all over Georgetown and the Franciscan Monastery in DC for their engagement session. You can see a few other photos featured over on United With Love.
Georgetown Engagement // Kate and Chuck
September 6, 2012We had the best day. We started at the National Arboretum, then wandered around Georgetown, then Kate cooked us an amazing fresh pasta dinner at their house while we chatted and waited for the sun to go down ending with rooftop photos overlooking the city. The variety of locations, perfect weather and the really infectious chemistry between these two made for some of my favorite engagement photos to date.
